Is there a way to delete V hexes and just leave one group of seven? Thanks

Well, thats what *I* do with unwanted VH's in the case of pbem and encounter no problems.
Playing the AI i figured VH's in the left grey edge are out of play and not of concern for the AI,most times they just disappear, but appearently i'm doing it wrong.
Please elaborate why this would be a problem
I was not being a smartass in this case, just .

The AI still detects V-Hexes on the grey map edges

I looked at the game guide and it does say it will screw up the ai

The AI still detects V-Hexes on the grey map edges

And therefore it will aim its troops for these, as well as plotting arty and air strikes on them etc. It may also mess up it's calculations for throwing in the towel for early end of game, and so on. Exiting the map edge results in the removal of the unit that takes any such hex as well.

Therefore any unused V-hexes you must be stacked on top of another valid used one on the map - as we state in the game guide.

Your described usage is in PBEM, where your opponent is a human, and so should not go for them. Unless of course he's really dense... - or he puts some of his formations under AI control.

Ok understood,i should not have not assumed it would be the same when playing the AI.
