So I came up with a battle tactic that I thought would work. Teleport some warlocks into a province, call horror, then cast returning and bug out. But this doesn't seem to be working. My warlocks call horrors as scripted. But then my army routs for no apparant reason. See attached (Map: ethereal squirrels [included], Mod: CBM 1.94 [not])

Is something weird happening, or are blood slaves counting for HP/routing purposes?

Sorry, wrong map -- the game is from Roaring Rhinos, not Ethereal squirrels.

Horrors have fear+10.
Check morale of your mages in the moment summoneed horrors assault Machaka - it already dropped.
I have no thorough and full explanation why the last morale check for army failed, but horrors' fear should be the cause.

we discussed this on the other board... Dominions is more insane than I thought. You're right that the horror fear forced a morale check. But the whole squad ran because blood slaves count towards total HP -- so when they got consumed in spell casting, the mages ran! Gah!

ARGH! The rout on HP mechanics need a major rework. It's too aggressive about counting things that don't represent taking damage of importance.
