View Full Version : Not quite sure if this is a problem

I don't believe I've ever tried to fire a single weapon at a target in the same hex before, so this may not be a problem.

Go to Unit V1 (M1A1HC TUSK FEP) and attempt to fire weapon #3 (using the "W" hotkey) at the targeted Chinese VN3 in the hex. If weapon#1 (which shouldn't fire) doesn't kill it the unit the M1A1 will also fire weapons#2 and #3.

Included are a copy of a saved game (#6) and my custom OOB (#13) which is needed as unit V1 does not exist in the standard OOB.

Never tried it myself but can understand the unit throwing everything its got at it if its in the same hex so not really in need of a fix.

When enemy units are in the same hex a mêlée situation can be initiated which basically generates a firefight so you may have only wanted one weapon to fire but things " got out of hand"

....and YES, the M1A1HC TUSK FEP *IS* in the stock OOB

Thank you, I thought that might be the case, but as I said I don't recall ever having the AI drive a vehicle right into a hex I was occupying before.

Yes it is, but not with the unit# of the one used in the saved game.
