This just some FYI on the Su-30MK1 I had in my files as I "reduce my inventory" a good read on how deals get done as well. I posted a similar article concerning India's license to build the T-90S as well a couple of years ago in the MBT thread. What the reader will find interesting is how India forced Russia to make the plane better (They are also the driver on many improvements to the T-50/PAK-FA 5th Gen. Fighter or FGFA as it's version is now being called. Russia is now considering these upgrades for themselves; current test planes do not include them as of yet.) with the cost that by original contract the planes were priced at ~$30 million now will cost ~$75 million and the huge waste in titanium as well for some parts.
