Hello,

Just wondering about a couple of things--

1) Is there a way to change the move command from a simple left click to something else? I find that, with my touchpad, I sometimes move a unit in error. Is there a hack tool to use for this kind of thing (like ctrl-left click?)?

2) Ammo dumps....so I am playing the Band of Brothers campaign, and one of my platoons just happened upon my enemy's artillery and munitions...I tried taking out one ammo dump which is surrounded by woods (i.e., 1 hex LOS), but, either all my men are blown to bits, or they get captured...Is there a way to take an ammo dump without causing it to explode? I have tried shift-clicking to enter into the same hex with no luck (death or capture ensues)...

Greetings Iaanan, a belated welcome to the forum. While hardly an expert I'll take a stab since so far nobody else has:

1) Don't think so. Could be wrong but left-clicking is all I've done. Sorry but I don't have a touch-pad just a mouse.
2) Haven't played Band of Brothers but with ammo dumps they always seem to explode when destroyed. And like blowing up just about anything else (pillboxes, bunkers, etc.) there's usually lotsa suppression on adjacent units. Better not enter the hex before blasting or it'll get much worse.

Hope that helps a little. Cheers and happy gaming!

Hiya, welcome aboard! :)

again no expert...

1. AFAIK there is no "in game" way to change keystrokes/hotkeys/clicks etc you can do this with some keyboards, laptops and third party software. Does the touch pad not disable when you plug in a mouse? or can you not disable the touchpad with the laptop's own setup software?

2. All ammo units (vehicles, dumps, bunkers, etc) may explode when destroyed - in my experience around 50% of the time - This is coded to be the equivalent of a 1000lb bomb, so has a large burst radius and may initiate a chain reaction in nearby units.

From the game guide:
When destroyed, ammo units may generate secondary explosions in their own and nearby hexes. These are effectively 1000lb bomb bursts.

It may be better to leave it alone if you cant kill it from a distance.
Enjoy!

Thanks to you both -- I was expecting an email letting me know there were replies, so sorry for the delayed response. Yeah, touchpad disables, but I am too lazy to scrounge up my old mouse ;-).

Download a free key remapper program.
Been a long time since I used one so cant remember the name.
Some are good let you remap keys set to a specific program rather than globally & allow remapping of mouse inputs as well.

OR you could simply take the time to plug in a mouse
