How does everyone feel about the stats of this unit in-game?
Some changes I might make:
1. Only Frontal Hull is protected with ERA.
change: add ERA to Side Hull
2. Crew is 2.
change: crew of 3.
Thoughts?

In before Don and Andy:

More seriously, you do realize you can do that with MOBHACK in your MBT\MOBHack directory? You don't need to ask anyone's permission?

I realize yes, I was looking for input.

The stats for Armata are surprisingly close to the claimed protection for the Object 299 MBT prototype in the 80ies (see attached) where they claimed 1,100+ mm against KE and 1,400mm+ against HEAT.
Good work there Don and Andy in your guesstimates. :angel

2. Crew is 2.
change: crew of 3.
Actually, I wouldn't change that. It came to me last night that the crew size of 2 might be a special variable -- in much the same way setting survivability of 7 automatically gives a unit MRAP resistance (without having to have the MRAP unit class).
Crew Size 2 plus some other combination of variables might trigger special code that's intended to take into account the fact that T-14 Armata has significantly reduced visibility for the crew due to them not being able to easily stick their head out and get 360 degree vision, the way a T-80 commander can.

AFAIK when the stats for the Armata were first released the crew size was 2

I've seen crew two or three early I think once. The game as indicated has crew 2. However this probably needs to be changed to Crew 3 for the T-14 ARMATA. Army recognition has been very aggressive in it's reporting of this tank. I have about twenty or more refs beyond the first one below tracking the various aspects of the development of the T-14. I have refs discussing aspects of the T-14 less than one week old describing the T-14 as just having a crew with no numbers.
Ref. one is the first I believe I have to indicate the crew was set at 3. That one (ref. 1) is dated 10 April 2015. Some of my normal refs. below show the same from my files (It was my intention to submit it.) before life got in the way.
I recommend Crew change to 3 vice 2 based on the below.

Caption of picture #1 below the video for the above.
This last works both to support Crew 3 and acts as an update.

Of my last post above, my remark about the refs being less then one week with mention of just crew, to clarify, is related to the time before ref. 1 was published and not within the context of this week. Sorry if this caused any confusion.
