Hello,
it has been discussed in some threads before (e.g. here: http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=49627), but can someone come up with reliable information about the german Gewehrgranate (weapon #93). And I`m not speaking of the Schießbecher (Gewehrgranatgerät) , which uses weapon 94, 95, 188 and 192 and was in use from 1942 onwards.
Weapon #93 is used by 33 german units (and incorporated in the game for code issues as Don says in #4). I always wanted to delete this weapon from my OOB, just because I`ve never heard of it before and was only aware of the Schießbecher.
Some time ago, I stumbled across this site:http://www.wehrtechnikmuseum.de/Verlag/Gewehrgranaten/gewehrgranaten.html which suggest that Gewehrgrananten have been in use since WW1.
Has anyone some data or information about their usage in WW2 before the Schießbecher was invented?
Cheers
Mario
