Just wondering how to best simulate the modern multi-purpose tank ammo - APAM, MPAT, sabot HEAT-MP, APers, etc?

Do we just need to increase the HE Kill (and possibly the HE penetration) of the existing guns or does this ammo need a different stat line, like the cannister rounds?

These would be put into the appropriate category - HEAT, HE or HESH as seems best.

See weapon 78 - 120mm M1028 - in the USA OOB which is used in some CS MBTs.

These are very different kinds of rounds - capable of having different "options" selected on the fuse so as to shower a long beaten zone with tungsten balls, explode in a circular cloud to combat helos, explode all at once to create breeches or destroy bunkers, or delay the deployment of submunitions to breech a wall and destroy infantry the other side. All at "standard engagement ranges" out to 4000m.

Some (admittedly sensationalist) footage of round - from 4:40 in first video, second video shows highspeed camera footage of 2 of the 4 firemodes:

Israeli APAM in use from 2009, similar US MPAT also in use currently

In game terms WYSIWYG...HE, AP,SABOT, HEAT with speciality rounds created as a sub group of those main 4 types. You won't be seeing "adjustable" munitions.
