Sorry if this is already mentioned here before (maybe at least in manual) but I noticed one thing which I haven't ever seen earlier in my WinSPWW2 games. I played as US vs Germany August 1944 and I had some tanks going along road to some French village. I noticed that almost middle of village AI had set booby trap into road. I checked my Preferences and "mines" were off. Ok, I thought I can get my tanks safely into village. I moved 1st tank into booby trap hex. Nothing happened as I expected. Then I moved 2nd tank into same hex. Boom! Luckily my tank was not damaged this time:re:... So, are booby traps designed to explode "randomly" or was it just some bug which stopped explosion during 1st tank?

Booby traps are random if set off by the enemy going into their hex. Same as mines are.

Booby traps are units, not mines - so your mines preference setting does not affect these.

Ok thanks about making this clear. I thought that booby traps are kind of mines too...
