Hello. Some questions.
See Figure. I know what H, C, and P stand for.
1) Is the R for Radio Contact or just contact in general. I have seen it being White, Yellow(assume this means it works intermittently), or Red (no contact).
2) What does the white * mean instead of an R?
3) I see 3 dashed lines and I know the right one is used to show damage such as -5 for infantry, and KO or Im for AFVs. Why 3 dashes?
Thanks very much.

H - HQ, C - Company command, P - Platoon Command
1) R = contact (usually by radio). White - IN contact, Yellow - poor radio contact only, Red - OUT of Contact.
2) * means they have no radio
3) first - is command level then suppression and damage

Thanks. Here is another screen but I don't see the suppression as you mentioned in your answer. So just wondering. I like the H screen as it packs so much information hence why I am trying to get a better understanding of it.
B0> is showing the 5 casualties but in the map screen they also have a suppression of 17. But I cannot see that in the H screen?

The singleton "-" shows who is/are subordinates. The platoon HQ doesn't have a "-" there.
The Platoon HQ can be any of the units (if the platoon HQ was KO'd) and the dashes were just there to make it show who is the boss originally I think, before we added radio status, command status and command level. So probably original SSI code that has remained.
Suppression is not shown on the HQ screen- use the unit roster to see basic data (suppression, ammo state for weapon 0 etc).
Select the unit and hit the space bar (or right click on it) to get the full detail on the unit, including ammo states for all weapon slots 0-3, and the ability to turn slots on or off etc.
