The British and USA navies are too cheap. Using the British OOB as an example,
If you buy a group of guns or a ship, units 498-506, instead if a single gun, units 69 84 85 86 87 88 277 460 you get a big discount in the price of each gun.
Makes the landing rather easy.

I agree they are cheaper but how many battleships did you actually buy? I have never bought more than 1 pretty sure for the size of the engagement we play in this game one would be rare enough.

Hi imp
I should have given an example, if you buy a British 14" gun, unit 460 it costs 262 points. If you buy 4 14" guns, battleship, unit 504 that costs 512 points, quite a big discount.

I know but still only buy one battleship and some support ships.

Well maybe but don't you think this is a bug?for every other type of offboard artillery the second, third, fourth etc tube you buy costs the same as the first one. Except for naval guns wich become much cheaper when they come as part of a ship.

One of the reasons for this appearing to be an anomaly is the crew levels 99 crew whether for 4 guns or 1 gun. For land based arty the crew numbers never hit the 99 crew max that naval guns do.

It is not a big deal especially as beach assaults are never easy and, I believe, naval arty cannot fire smoke missions.
