MapGen Help (in game)

Was in game with MapGen and reading the Help and it shows this:

In the River Trees, RIver Marsh, River Mud & River Rough section

type: shows ... - 101 will give a 11hance of a wadi ...


Think this means will give a chance of a wadi?

Also, the BatLoc file shows 248, but I thought I saw in game its 250 or so.

249 in WW2 will show "Ardennes" MBT is 249 "Ardennes" and 250 "Shat al-Arab"

how those are "interpreted" by the map generator depends on the month , which season is selected AND the two opponents you have as P1 and P2 but will still report as being "Ardennes" or Shat al-Arab"

It is expected that players will learn how the MapGen works in that regard by experimentation changing season and month and opponents will sometimes produce wildly different maps for the same BatLoc and that is normal

Sorry I was not clear, I know what a wadi is, but the text in question was odd in the in game MapGen showing:

11hance


Which I am guess means 'chance'.


So I think the correct wording would have been:

- 101 will give a chance of a wadi ?


So if I input 101 there will or might be a chance of wadi's being drawn?

Depending on the month and season ( and opponents ) choosen...yes, a wadi "might be" produced when the river rough is set high.

the actual text reads "101 will give a 1% chance of a wadi being built instead of a river (if present) by the Wadi routine"




The wording will be corrected for the next patch there is interference with the brackets used earlier in the sentence.....it's a very strange bit of code
