I started playing a Finnish generated campaign, starting in 1939, and I noticed that the artillery observer teams have 6 people instead of the usual 2-3 that I am used to in other nations. They are also size 1 instead of the usual size 0. Is this correct, or an oversight?

The units in question are numbers 231, 232, and 233 in the Finnish OOB.

Those units are that size all the way back to the earliest OOB's I have on file which could mean Finn observer units during WW2 were larger than "normal" and somebody knew that and why they have been that way for at least 15 years...probably longer....as to why this is..... IDK but you are the first person to ask about them. Call it a quirk of the Finn army.

Look at it this way....they have more men and therefore will last longer in combat than a 2 man team would

Don't know the reason for that but keep the observer back and let them Sissi be the eyes. seem to remember artillery company has a few attached.

Fair enough, I can work with it, or modify it with Mobhack.

I dug a bit deeper into this and surprised myself as I expected to find they were all 2 man teams aside from the Finns

But no...

Many are 2 ( roughly 2/3 ).... 3 man teams account for most of the remaining 1/3 but Romania has 4 man teams with the Finns at 6.

I'm going to compromise on this a bit and make the Finns 4 man to match the Romanians so they qualify for the zero size and trim their weapon ammo a bit to match the change
