How is this moded so that when creating a battle there is an option to purchase rotor and fixed-wing aviation assets?

After loading on a new laptop I am not able to buy either in some battle setups. These are 2021 scenarios I build against the Chinese.

Does the preference screen show Air Stikes as being a number bigger than zero?

If you are creating scenarios in the Editor then air assets are always available (if preferences air strikes is NOT 0)


If a random battle (ie hitting "battle" button) then it will be completely random whether you or opponent get air power for the battle (again if Preference setting is "XXX" or a number >0)

As scorpio rocks said if yo are using the editor just make sure air sorties is not set to 0 in preferences.

For generated battles if air sorties is set to XXX the computer will decide if air is available & if so how much. Based on visibility, nations, battle type, size etc.

If you want air change air sorties to the amount you require rather than XXX

Sorry for double post Transport air is always available to buy so long as you have 1 air point left.
So 3 air points will let you buy 3 sets of attack air & as many transports as you want so long as you buy them before using your third air point
