You get a similar and even bleaker picture when looking at period from November 1942 to March 1943. In February 1943, the Germans clearly revised the numbers for vehicles lost in that period, including all the vehicles that had been left behind in the Caucasus, around Stalingrad and in the retreat across the Donets. It makes, IIRC, February 1943 the month with the highest losses of AFVs for the German Army in WWII.
