latest patch

The latest patches for this game and MBT are not working? I tried a few times and it just did not download. Appreciate any help. Thanks

At the bottom of the screen you will see.....

If your download doesn't start automatically click here.

At the 'click here'..... right click on it and select " open link in new tab"

Once that happens you will see the link at the top of the screen then press enter

...... and NO I do not know why it has to be done this way sometimes because I know in the past I have clicked on the links and the DL starts right away

I tried with the above instructions and it still did not work. I tried to contact customer support but I keep getting the message "your session has expired." Thanks for your help. I'll just wait until its fixed somehow.

Just tried the download - it worked for me.

However, a new "feature" of Firefox (or my anti virus?) blocked the download as a "potential security risk" - clicking on the red button and choosing to allow the download let it go ahead.

Ho, hum - off now to find whatever irritating thing in the browser or my A/Virus has now decided to add this "helpful" blocking behaviour and nuke it...:doh:

Edit - turned off the real time protection in Windows Defender, tried again and got the same result so it looks like it's a new feature of Firefox..

Further edit - its a new thing in firefox, go to settings and then security and scroll down and you will find a check box you can turn off entitled "Block dangerous downloads" - apparently plain old zip files are "dangerous" according to the firefox team?:confused:

Everyone apparently has different experiences with this. I was told by shrapnel......
Yesterday there were 182 successful downloads and 7 unsuccessful downloads. This is not a big deal to us as most people can download

I'm guessing I was a few of those unsuccessful DL

That said I normally use Chrome for everything but I do have firefox and using firefox everything worked EXACTLY as it should, unlike Andys experience

What will always work. Right click on the 'click here' link on the Demo Download page and select copy link. Then paste into your browser.

and *IN MY EXPERIENCE TODAY* it does. I have DL two patches that way using Chrome

COPY LINK ADDRESS

then....

PASTE THAT INTO A NEW TAB OF YOUR BROWSER AND PRESS ENTER

and the DL should start

and Yes, it should be easier than this but as with any windows based system there are a variety of browsers and anti-virus programs that can work one way for one person and a different way for another as Andys and my experience with Firefox shows

Thanks again. I was able to get them by using "save link as" and then bypassing the security alert.
