Splash screen problem

Suddenly the splash screen no long displays. Game pauses while loading as it alway did but now no splash screen. Game runs OK.

Thought it was Norton anti-virus but turned it off but made no difference.

Splash screen for WinSPWW2 is OK.

Any ideas?

I always turn off the "splash screen" for both games. If you want them on/off when you first launch the game launcher click Yes/No for 'Show Introduction'.

I also turn it off - splash screens are annoying after you have seen them a time or 2. Turning off saves a few seconds of the start-up process.

If it was working before then you must have changed something. Like say the screen display size perhaps?. Or betweem windowed and full-screen game mosde, etc. Or something changed behind the scenes like say a driver update.
