When strafing with Helicopter

So, running a small battle between Germany and Czechoslovakia, I discovered that while strafing the convoy of enemy trucks is a grand idea, ending the run OVER an ammo truck and blowing it ends up badly for your attack helicopter.

In fact, when said ammo truck goes boom, well, so does your attack helicopter. Not expected but it was different and had me be a bit more cautious with my remaining attack helicopter.

Was the chopper at low altitude? - I think it might have been safe if up high (but then more SAMs etc may have had LOS..)

Yes low altitude, had the brilliant idea to strafe the convoy because the computer lined all those pretty trucks up on the road running along the entire bottom of the map. And well so made a future note NOT to end the run over a vehicle next time.
