Hello. As promised, when I find something strange in some scenario, I would report it.
In scenario 28, unit BB0, the weaponry in the unit info panels does not match.
The second image reflects reality.

That's could be becasue:
1/ The scenario designer manually changed the weapons
or
2/ they have been changed in the master OOB since this scenario was built
What you show in the first washed out example is Unit 237 and the clear screen shot is U236
BUT
There are only 9 pioneer units in that scenario and they are all reported in scenhack as being 237 but in the game they are actually 236 which is weird but that scenario is nearly 20 years old and a lot has changed. The unit should be 237 for that time period not 236 UNLESS Helge changed them to reflect being reserve units using old equipment
EDIT
The next scenario has the same issues.... both have now been "corrected"..... hopefully I did not "fix" a deliberate adjustment

I very commonly change units weapons when creating scenarios.
Unfortunately the data screens don't reflect this.
One shows the original weapons the other the revised ones.

The gane will show changed data on the unit information screen - however the Encyclopaedia always pulls information from the basic unchanged OOB data and so if a scenario designer changes the unit data via the scenario editor, the database info screen won't show that as it cannot do so.
This has been SP 101 since forever, and has been explained many a time.

I am and have been far worse depending on my needs. I'll not only mess with weapon slots in units but I'll mess with formation slots as well. Not talking about the OOB editors per se, but using the scenario editor and Mobhack (my fav tool).
Just depends on the need.
