A Really Bad Game Marketing Idea

"Hey, here's an idea. Let's have you run around the bar district waving a gun around."
"How is that going to get people interested in the game? And won't someone call the cops if I have a gun?"
"Well, it's going to be fake of course."
"Fake? Like obvious bright orange fake?"
"No, that would look stupid. It'll look pretty real."
"Umm, couldn't I end up getting shot by the cops?"
"Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. I'm pretty sure they have to give you a chance to surrender before opening up. Besides, they can probably tell it's a fake gun."
"Really, how?"
"Surely that's part of their professional training."
"But..."
"No buts, just get out there and start waving the pistol around. You'll do fine..."
