soldier equipment costs

Hey all! I'm new here, and I wanted to create a mod... the problem is that I cant find any guidelines on how much resources a piece of equipment costs...

basically, can someone send me a list or something on how much resources a sword, bow or armor costs?

Thank you all in advance!

I have some good news and bad news:

First, Dominions community has pretty much moved over to Dominions 3.

Second, the mods are pretty much interchangeable between DomII and Dom3, AND thanks to some changes in Dom3 the weapon and armor resource values are easily available. A fan going by the name Edi has listed all weapons, armors and their resource costs here:

http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/thr...;Number=498596

The file is in OpenOffice format. If you don't have it and don't want to install it, I can send you the file in either another format, or the values as plain text.

Also, if you were to do the mod for Dominions 3, the game would auto-calculate the resource cost of the unit, including size multipliers.

If you need help with graphics, I can copy sprites from either DomII or Dom3 for your use. Only the first, basic sprites can be copied; no one has come up with a way to extract the attack sprites from the game.

What, exactly? Dominions 3, or Edi's list (a version of which was also available for DomII)?

No problem. In case you need help and you don't get an answer in here, feel free to ask your question in the Dom3 modding forum. It's more active, and while there are few more tricks in Dom3, the principle hasn't changed at all.
