When creating a scenario, Victory Point in upper left corner won't go away.
 
The title is pretty self explanatory.

I make the map, I start putting in victory points locations ... and there's one in the upper left corner that won't go away. I can't delete it, and for every new one I add on the map, it increases in value.

When I play the scenario, the AI rushes for it, entirely ruining the scenario. I don't quite know what's going on here. I have the free version, for what it's worth.

Dumb question, but do you use the next and previous buttons to move to the next and or previous victory objective? You also need to set the value for each one, there are by default 21 VH to place.

Another tip that may help is to clear all them, when you do this it lets you set a value and owner for all of them and then start placing them using the next and or previous buttons.

As stated above - use the N and P keys to move between objectives. This selects the current objective to be placed, valued or flag-flipped etc. It automatically starts at objective 0 (zero). Remember that numbering starts at objective 0, not number 1.

All objectives need to be placed on the playing surface of the map to ensure that AI path-finding does not get screwed up. Any unneeded ones that are left at zero need to be stacked on top of an existing valued objective. Values greater than 250 can be made also by stacking several objectives in the same hex as well if so desired.
