Weird Worlds: Absolute Warfare [MOD]

After long and hard work I decided to release beta
version of my mod "Weird Worlds: Absolute Warfare".

Few things I want to say before you will play it:
- This is only beta version, and will be much bugs
in there, and I'm asking to report here, at this
topic about any bugs you have found...
- There is small unbalancing (I think it's HUGE!)
between your and enemies' ships...
- Help me create balance between ships, but not
making Terran ships weaker, but by making other
ships stronger, just give me advice what to change...

function that allows you to download this mod like

That seems like a huge mod, about 59 megs!! I'm downloading and will try it as soon as I get home tomorrow.

In any case, this thread should be moved to the mod section of the WW forum.

Also I found some bugs... That I will fix soon and also I think I will be able to add all features to the game without patch that i asked from devs... But some weapons will be removed, because too much weapons in the game, it's too much for game.

P.S. I have question for everybody who played my mod, who used Notebook and/or Black Sun Device? =)

Ok, just to give you a quick feedback. I havent played much, just like 4 games, it performed well and I was amazed by the intensity of fights. But well, I should have expected that with that name.

If the BlackSun is locatated at start and is similay to some "music" device in normal game, I have used that. Did exactly what it was designed for, a notebook I have not encountered.

Actually, I think I could go for some games just now...

P.S.: I think you might get more response if you had post you mod in the mod sub-forum.

Bug Report
 
First of all, respect for your work!! There are a lot of great ideas pumped into this mod.
A quick game revealed that when you get the Alien ("Hulk") Ship, it remains dorment in battles. When i battled the Corrupt, they overpowered me and only the Alien Ship was left. When i clicked on it, the game just exited (crashed) to the desktop.
The balance between you and the enemy is indeed something that needs work.... The only time i was defeated was that last time by the Corrupt when they appeared with 6 (yes, SIX!!! :evil: ) of those large configurations. Great when they split up in many little ships!!
Again, it's a fun mod to play and i warmly recommend this to everyone.

One thing to bear in mind concerning the quietness of feedback is with Weird Worlds being out for nearly three years the forum is not as active, which tends to be the normal cycle for games. I've been busy and haven't had time to check out the mod but when I get a chance I will, and maybe make a mention of it in the next newsletter, which should put some more eyes on it.

one thing i can say is that its waaaaaaaay too ez. u pretty much dont have to trade your items for better ones since your currant ones are already OP.

also u stole so many sfx from starcraft. i felt like i was playing starcraft.

This mod id nice but crashing like hell... Is/ will there be any chance for update on this, or should I go back to play w my old Diablo LoD Median XL mod?
