Hungarian Unit Icon Issue

So setting up another scenario this one uses Hungarians in April 1941.

The formation is 155, the unit in question is 157.

Bicycle Scouts.

Here is a couple of screenshots.

Here is the unit screen:

Re: Hungarian Unit Icon Issue

Yes, I know about that one and it's fixed for the next patch.

In MOBHack change the Icon for unit 157 to 449 ( it's zero in yours now ) and the SPWW2 Icon will be replaced with the bicycle Icon. They will show up as infantry in MOBHack--just ingnore that. Once you change that unit to 449 it will show up properly in the game

There *may* be a change to the way bicycle troops are handled in the game for the next upgrade..maybe it depends on how motivated we can get about it

Don, just out of curiosity, how would the bicycle troops be changed? Currently (my next batch of scenarios) uses them (I think I have 2-3, the Hungarians, Thialand vs France and I believe another).

Re: Hungarian Unit Icon Issue

Bicycles ( as a vehicle ) would be their own unitclass and the riders would not necessarily have to be drawn from the existing bicycle UC's....but likey most would so they would behave like some of the motorcycle units already do and very similar to the Slovak Bicycle Platoon. Bicycles would be a method of conveyance like a truck but with altered coding for their use. Ideally it would be handled like the snorkle or DD tanks but in this case one Icon for mounted and one when they have been dismounted and when dismounted they would not be able to move so it would involve some creative coding
