Favorite Race?
 

Hey all,

I was just curious what you guys' favorite races were. You can vote for any/all that you like -- you don't have to choose just one favorite!

Humans because I feel comfortable with the Prophet and Paladin combo.

Undead simply because I love trying to swam the enemy, and turning their units into mine is great fun.

I would say the Gnomes, Undead, and Arcatta are my favorite because their units require you to think and use their special abilities to do good.

I almost always play random, but that doesn't mean there aren't races I like more than others.

I like Dwarves and Gnomes (buffing is fun), Orcs (huge anything-killer is fun), Arcatta (doing funky tricks is fun)...

The others, IMHO, are not as interesting to play. I always find myself having trouble with the Afflicted; Undead are too much the one-trick Necro thing, and Elves and Humans are just... bland.

Elves are kinda fun, with the ranged attack stuff. And humans provide a nice, solid race for new players. There may be a few balance issues for some races though.

My fav race to play is Orcs, but I always play Gnomes cuz they rock http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
