Playing Full Screen on Win 7

Hi

I´m totally sure I found a tip to make this work some time ago without having to restart the game each time after closing the program because all the icons have disappeared from the desktop.

Now I just can´t find it anymore. It would really improve my life to know how to do this. Now I have to use my old laptop (with XP) which is ridden with all kinds of crap and takes almost 10 minutes just to start.

I seem to recall the problem had something to do with Internet Explorer shutting down and it had to be restored or something.

Thanks!

Edit -button doesn´t work....

On the first line, replace "game" with "computer".

PC has to be restarted each time to bring the desktop icons back.

Windows Explorer, not Internet Explorer.
The launch script is supposed to handle that, AFAIK.

As a workaround, try this:
Press Ctrl-Shift-Esc to open Task Manager
Click File -> New Task
Enter:
explorer.exe
Click OK

If you have patched to the latest version of the game AND have the game installed outside \program files you should not have to do anything special like this
