AATF: How to transport ammo?

I am playing the 2nd mission of the Vietnam scenario. How do I move the ammo to the howitzers:

- It is not possible upload the ammo to the helicopters directly?

- I have uploaded the pallets to the helicopters; but reaching the batteries it is not possible to unload the pallets?

Problem solved :) Putting the helicopters in defilade will allow me to unload the pallets.
