PBW Housecleaning: Removing obsolete mods
 
I am doing some cleaning up on PBW, removing old and obsolete mods from the list of mods we support for games.

I have removed support for version 1.84 entirely. It doesn't appear that anyone uses it any longer.

For version 1.94 and 1.91 mods, I have kept any mod that is being used by a current game, and the latest versions of any mods that aren't being currently played.

Here's the list of mods that I am obsoleting. If you see one on here that you we should hang on to, let me know.

How does one get a new mod uploaded for use on PBW? Since you are obsoleting Star Trek Mod 1924, would it be possible to have you upload the latest version? Or perhaps wait for the next update of the mod then upload that? (Will be out at the end of the month.)

I removed Star Trek 1.9.2.4 beacuse noone was using it and we also had 1.9.2.6 on the server. I assumed that was the most recent version, am I inncorrect?

Any mod you want on there you just post in the Admin requests forum on PBW and we'll add it. If you need 1.9.2.4 back on there we can do that too. There weren't any current games using it so I figured it was safe to remove.

What I need to do is add a feature to PBW so that I can obsolete a mod without deleting it so that exsisting games can use it but new games can't be setup with it. That would help keep the list less cluttered.

You can remove all versions of the "Ladder Mod." It was a special purpose mod for a system that no longer operates.

I think PVKprop#1 is running on Proportions 2.5.2.2 - not sure about the se4 version mind.

Yes, it's running on Proportions 2.5.2.2, but using SE4 ver 1.91. I made the assumption there that if they were going to upgrade that game to 1.94 they would have by now so I figured there was no reason to keep 2.5.2.2 for 1.94. The latest version of Proportions for 1.94 is still on there, Proportions v3.05.

Dark Nova v4.19b is still being used in 1 game. The game is winding down and could be done in the near future, but is still running. All other versions you mention are done with.

All of the mods I listed are definetly not currently being used. If you see one on the list I've already taken it off the server. If you have a game you think it using one of them, what you actually have is a 1.91 game using the mod and I took the 1.94 version off the server, or vice versa.

If however there's one on the list here that you wanted to use in a future game, just let us know and we'll put it back on.
