Question on Croation OOB
I don't see an Croatian OOB, what would be a good OOB to use for Croatian units?
I am not referring to the units in the 369th Croat Regiment. Digging a little deeper, it maybe that I can use Yugoslavia? The battle I'll recreate is in April 1941, when the Croatians and Yugoslavians clashed. Research shows that these Croats were in the Yugoslav Army at the time. So would it be weird to use Yugo vs Yugo? Thinking out loud and searching for some ideas? |
Re: Question on Croation OOB
If you play same side versus the other - one side gets the "rebel" flag, I think it is player 2.
However another candidate is the Red OOB, as this doubles for central European partisans etc. and batlocs then to be "the Balkans" area. |
Re: Question on Croation OOB
Okay cool and thanks Andy, I think I'll use the Red OOB for the Croats in this one. I may just do a quick test to see how the Rebel flag is display lol.

Re: Question on Croation OOB
So basically you're trying to recreate one of the clashes when some Croat units mutinied against the Royal Army? Then I think you should just use the Yugo OOB for both sides, as the Croats would be using Royal Army equipment.

Re: Question on Croation OOB
Yes that is essentially the gist of it.

Re: Question on Croation OOB
So I used Yugo vs Yugo, the outcome looks like so, not too bad (I think if you look close enough you can see the sort of rebel flag?).

Re: Question on Croation OOB
It’s fine to play with the rebel flag however if Croatia OOB is available could be worth looking at, very similar because of the situation for future reference.
If you want balanced forces for player vs player, Croatia, Serbia,Yugoslavia is as close as it gets, experince is only mildly different to. These OOBs worth looking in encyclopaedia as first unit is a placeholder giving some info on which forces are available. |
Re: Question on Croation OOB
IINM there is no current Croatian or Serbia OOB.

There are... #41 Yugoslavia / Serbia 1/1946 12/ 2025 #60 Croatia 6/1991 12/ 2025 and for additional locals: #57 Bosnia-Herzegovina 3/1992 12/ 2025 As Imp says look in Mobhack as the first entry (flag) has info about the forces they represent. |
