Bask In Prussia's Glory!
Next Horse and Musket 2 Series Game Now Shipping!

Hampstead, NC, 18 November 2005

Shrapnel Games, and Charles S. Roberts award winning developer Boku Strategy Games,
are pleased to announce that the second title in the Horse and Musket 2 series of pre-20th
century warfare, Prussia's Glory, is now shipping around the world. It is available for the
Windows operating system and retails for $44.95.

Prussia's Glory, like its predecessor, Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine, allows
gamers to digitally step into the boots of one of history's greatest military minds,
Frederick the Great of Prussia, as he waged war across central Europe in the 18th century.
Specifically, in Prussia's Glory you will hear the thunder of cannons and smell the stench
of blood and sweat on the fields of Soor, Lobositz, Leuthen, Hochkirch, and Torgau.
Each of these famous battles is fully examined, having been meticulously researched as
only Dave Erickson can do, with a grand total of seventeen scenarios spread between the
five major battles.

Using an enhanced Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine engine, the sights and sounds of
the period, such as new animations and historically accurate regimental graphics, will
draw armchair commanders into the fray, while the intense action will keep them glued to
their monitors. In an era where victory seems to hinge mostly on a player being able to
click the mouse the fastest, or remember the proper hotkey combinations, Prussia's Glory
is a return to days of good ol' fashioned turn-based strategy gaming.

Unabashedly turn and hex based, Prussia's Glory uses the foundation of its boardgame
roots as its basic strength, and builds a tower of power with the assets only a computer
can provide. Command a wide range of units and battle across winter fields and summer
villages, either against the superb AI or your fellow gamers through a wide range of
multiplayer options, including the always popular PBEM. The game system is grand-
tactical in nature, and uses a command activation sequence that keeps each scenario
fresh, no matter how many times it is replayed.

As a hearty thank-you for those who also own Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine,
you'll find an exclusive scenario, Action at Burkersdor 1762 included on the CD. Please
note that due to the modifications of the engine there is no cross compatibility between
Prussia's Glory and Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine, and so the bonus scenario will
not be playable with Prussia's Glory, you must own Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine
to reap its benefits.
