I'm just starting to play this game but wanted to check for any updates and/or mods...except Chronic Reality's website looks like it may have domain issues of some kind?

Wazoo, apparently his hosting expired. It should be renewed in the near future, but he has no firm date on when.

In the meantime there have been no post-release updates. The site did have a sample mod for the full game on it, along with a mod guide, but you can find both of those on the download page for Scallywag here on our site.

I'll snag those downloads you mentioned from your site and play with those.
