Looking for good beginner nations

Hey all I'm looking for some recommendations for a few good nations that are beginner friendly. Can anyone help?

For MP or SP? For single player a lot of people like to suggest the giant races. Try niefelheim. First time just go with a big e9N8 bless and get the blue mage giants.

Later try it with lesser blesses and use the other giants.

Thanks for the tip on Niefelheim. This should get me familiar with the interface and general gameplay. Any other nations that are good for newcomers and SP... I mean nations that I could get start learning how to devise strategies and create competitive pretenders for MP?

Keep in mind that I am not ready to hop into MP just yet, but I do want to be able to decipher the other helpful posts like the nation guides and things like E9F7W5D6 and things like that. Thanks again.

well best place to ask questions is not here but at dom3mods and the desura forum.

E9F7 etc is the starting pretender paths. That determines the bless you have on your sacreds.

The Sacred Niefelhiem giants have high hp and good armor so they get a big boost from the e9 (gives +4 armor and +4 fatigue reduction each turn) and the n8 (gives a high regeneration rating. 15% iirc).

So that way you stack your bonusses.

Not really have an idea for good nations. You should just look at one that you think you like. Or a magic type that appeals to you.

I read through a number of nation guides that said flat out 'this is not a nation for beginners' and I know that there are a couple of classes in COE3 that are beginner friendly so I thought that there might be something similar in Dom3.

Very well, I will jump into the deep end ;)
