WinSPWW2 Small ID-Tags Mod
 

<font color="brown">New version 2 uploaded. This one removes the files battle.shp and icon0095.shp from the attachement since these fixes are included in WinSPWW2 v.2.0 patch.</font>

OK, this is meant for WinSPWW2:

What is changed:

-All ID-tags resized to a smaller size (17x9 pixels).
-All ID-tags changed to up and center of the unit instead of bottom.
<font color="brown">-Polish and LWP flags corrected. They had the same flags which made them hard to identify from each other (now have different flags). These are corrected in the Battle setup screen and victory hexes also. (Battle.shp and Icon0095.shp)</font>
-The "BLUE" ID tag now has yellow sides like the "RED" and "GREEN".
-Finnish ID flags changed to war flags (lion symbol in middle section)
-Romanian ID tag now has the center symbol like the larger flags.

Installation:
-Unzip the attachment into you WinSPWW2\Game Data\Graphics folder.

-Files that were modified:

Icon0095.shp</font>
Icon0097.shp
Icon0098.shp

Please make backups of these files before replacing.

<font color="brown">These have been included in WinSPMBT v2.0 patch and so are no longer in the Small ID-tags mod.</font>

And heres one showing the corrected larger flags. These will affect battle setup screens and on map victory hexe's.

They are in files Battle.shp and Icon0095.shp if someone wants to use them but does not like the small ID-tags. Also the developers might want to include these fixes in the next official patch, maybe?

Nope. I'm quite happy with what I put into the game and it's not going to change. People are free to DL and install your mod if they like

Can you take the German Iron Cross Flag from the German Flag folders and add it to your Mod? I like how easy it is to see the different Polish Flags in the VH's but I prefer the Iron Cross to the Nazi Swastika. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

Nox, thanks for the mods. My old eyes like the ID flags on to make sure I see everything but I like your smaller versions. You were quick too.
