bronze demo crash
 

Hi,

I tried using the Bronze demo in vitrualbox/WinXP as guest on gentoo linux, and it always crashes at startup. This is what the error reporting system gave, at least the part I could select with the mouse:

AppName: bronze.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1 ModName: bronze.exe
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 0000193c


BTW, I could run it in wine.

Bronze needs DirectX and native Windows to run properly. While it may work on some kinds of virtual setups, it will not work on others. If the demo doesn't work on your linux virtual box, the full game will also not work. Directx is very picky about non-Windows environments, and there is not much we can do about that. :)
