Mysterious off-board artillery losses

At the end of a game, the victory score screen reported that I had lost 5 "units" of artillery (or maybe that means 5 points of damage?) However, all of my artillery was off-map and all 4 batteries fired at what appears to be full strength the last turn.

Any explanation for this? I imagine there could be automatic off-board counter-battery fire but I think my opponent only had mortars which should not have been able to reach my heavy guns.

Mortars, artillery, rockets, some AA units, basically anything on the "Artillery" purchase screen counts as "artillery units".

Thank you, that explains at least part of it as I had some SP-SAM that was destroyed although I only had 3 of those and one still remained at the end. But maybe there was something else to account for the remaining losses.

Does that include FOs and FO vehicles?

Nvm I tested it out, FOs and FO vehicles don't count, ATG guns and AAG count, and it appears the men on top of them might count as well seperately. (Having destroyed 3 mortar teams, an fo vehicle, forced a headquarters retreat (not sure if that counts for kills), and destroyed 3 atg and an aag I was left with seven artillery kills and 49 infantry kills. The 7 art are the three atg, three mortars, and aag, obviously. The 49 infantry I suppose are divided among the couple kills I got against the headquarters, the mortar, atg, and aag crews, and the fo and fo vehivle crews, I believe.
