I took it slow, having forgotten that I was being chased. As a result I lost most of the Arty units and some of the flak. They took out a number of the enemy soft units before they were destroyed. ...

Never mind. follow up forces arrived from the other direction. It all makes sense now.
Barely got a 2:1 MV.
The Ukrainians were chewed up in the city by point blank tank and infantry ambushes....
