Personally, I'm a bit skeptic about that. Modding has already been expanded a lot, and Peg hit all the new limits as soon as he started, and he managed to find things experienced modders didn't know...

If you play on a large map, just one enemy and increase the gold/resource/supply multiples (and magic site chance) you'll get more stuff. Independents won't benefit from it, so for most of the time...
