Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [1-2 subs needed!]

So basically the problem is that everyone is counting on other people fighting while they'd be left in peace, and then conquering the ruins.

Mexican standoff of a kind, resulting in a win by...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [1-2 subs needed!]

I think the game was a blast in the beginning. Conquering fourth of the map fighting mostly people going AI the moment they lost first time is what did it to me.

And Psi, I got the impression...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [1-2 subs needed!]

Any effort to really try to win this game would require a lot more than I'm able to now that I've got only 1 functional hand. It will (should) heal in three weeks but never say never. So either I...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [1-2 subs needed!]

That kind of stuff happens.

I myself have just got my hand into a cast, so playing large turns isn't that feasible for some weeks. Dunno what to do with this game. :-(

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [1-2 subs needed!]

I think the notification has either reverted to 8h or been disabled. Might've been so ever since the llamaserver crash earlier.

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [1-2 subs needed!]

Well, I think we are. I mean, Prepo hosted yesterday, all was as it ought to be (except those birds flying around in the center but that isn't the game's fault), turn 56 going on and hosting...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [1-2 subs needed!]

It's more common than just Preponderance. Many games appear to be affected by /something/.

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Looking at the army graph it would appear reanimation works again. Or am I just hoping too much?

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

I myself am content with 48h hosting that keeps the pace up, but then again it appears my team's co-operation isn't that stellar. What with we both sniping each other's raiders with remote attacks...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Hm. I'm not 100% certain, but it might be I didn't get my site summons (from "enter site" command) this turn either. Other people with mages sitting on sites seeing this too?

If that thing is...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

IIRC in previous cases it has been a temporary thing that goes away after a while. Sorry, can't say anything else than try to hang in there.

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

I think I've seen every now and then in several MPs that MA Ermor player starts to complain about not being able to reanimate. No idea why that happens, though. We shouldn't be anywhere near unit...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Lanka has already taken almost all of Jomon's lands and Jomon has teleported his mages into forts I'm sieging. So assuming Jomon has scripted his mages on previous turns there are very little lost...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Heh, well spoken rdonj. I don't think this debate accomplishes anything or makes anyone's mind, so it's all futile. But, hope someone gets an occasional amusement out of it.

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Sorry I haven't been around to continue our little PR bout, been doing actual stuff. Most of the things said really need no comment, but I'd like to point out an example which illustrates just how...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Hm. The game's barely started and you're talking about victors. Let's see:

Most artifacts: probably Utgård & Bogarus
Well of Misery and thus Tartarian horde: Caelums
Most research: Caelum,...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Talk about strawmen.

Oh well, I guess it's just funny that one of the most powerful combined bless/blood nation whines about inevitable doom at a point he hasn't lost a single fight. Seriously,...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

*shrug* Ifs and shoulds, had my mages followed their scripts my fight would've been even faster, but apparently they decided opposing 30 mages isn't worthy situation for spending gems. You're just...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

You seriously need to get a hobby, this obsession about our nation is borderline insane. Granted, us skinshifters are hairy and manly in ways the Monkees can only dream about, but still. And haven't...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Hm, you're right, I better get onto it. However, seeing as it is that they're situated right on the other side of the map, can't reach 'em. But! luckily we've got that cave system! There's only one...

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]

Quite contrary to the Master of Propaganda's posts, Midgård hasn't been fighting LA Mictlan for some time. After dealing with the raiding jaguars from our lands we've been preoccupied for a while....
