I changed the .ini settings to match those of my old system and re-installed the patches and now the games are working.

Not sure what caused the problems but I suspect that after doing a fresh...

Just applied the patches to my 5 year old laptop and they appear to work fine. So obviously there is something about my desktop that is off.

Though both games were working fine on my desktop...

Reboot allowed me to open SPWW2 but not SPMBT. Once SPWW2 opened, using the GOTO to save a scenario in the editor killed it again.

Question Latest patches killed both games for me ( RESOLVED )

Applied the latest patches to previous working versions of SPWW2 and SPMBT (10.01 and 11.01).

Went to save a scenario in the editor and used the new "go to" button to find a slot. Game froze. ...
