Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Didn't I predict somewhere that no one would win Kingmaker? Looks like I was wrong :D

Congrats to everyone who managed to survive until the end, it's too bad I couldn't join that group

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I can still play my turn (or rather, give away what's left after my turn), and Llamaserver isn't counting me out yet (or so it seems, this is the first Llamaserver game I've lost before the game...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

If Monoliths could have ghosts (and said Monolithic ghost was not forced to, ahem, 'please' an Arcoscephalean Sibyl or a C'tissian Sauromancer through some deal with Death and/or the Astral Powers...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

First things first-this was actually my second MP game, though it was definitely still a learning experience (boy did I learn when I realized the early game was over as my almost-magicless army was...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Were those water-nymph warriors supposed to be chaff or lowborn soldiers? I guess so. Also, I think my Earthquake killed quite a few of the Smiths as well, so you can't claim to have killed all...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Looks like Ulm is down. In the battle against EA C'tis, we killed 169 troops (Three quarters of the total!) and five commanders, at the cost of every commander in Ulm's possession but Monny himself....

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

So many lies in such a small area. Where do I start?True, but yuou forget the part where you declared war on Utgard too.LA T'ien was almost dead by that point, and the others came in to even the odds...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I'm just glad someone came to the game :) Or that anyone bothered to set up bleachers, really. I don't think I'm being modest when I say Ulm has never been very important other than miraculously...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I patrolled with my Smiths and found 7(!) scouts in MA Ulm, including Bandar Log and EA R'lyeh scouts. I'm touched to know Ulm is such a hotspot nations probably halfway across the world want to know...

TftF: Charge of the Hel Brigade

I shouldn't be doing this but I'm obsessive-compulsive about AARs and this, if anything MA Ulm has ever done, deserves an AAR.

Helheim scouts that night noted that the usually-cowering peasants...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Here's a hint for those of you somewhat overconfident in Helheim's abilities:

EA Helheim uses sacred troops. Iron Darts and Guardians. Even if Helheim wins, it will be a hard-fought victory. Very...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I asked to keep my capital. As my upkeep is currently much more than my gold income (sadly), I also need my capital. I'd like to think Helheim is in for quite the fight, even against my meager troops.

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Okay, two out of three. Although, I think this

does nudge me towards calling you a rude neighbor now. That was a few turns ago, not "last you saw", unless you happen to have been blinded by one of...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Ulm is essentially a living corpse of a nation now, dead but not quite dead. So that the dying shambles of Ulm aren't eaten up solely by Ulm's enemies, all NAPs, alliances, or anything of the sort...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Haven't you heard? EA C'tis is at war with me too. I have enemies on quite literally every side. It's a bit sad, really, how I actually armed C'tis's Bane Lords for battle. I'll make the best of it...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I for one would like a 72h host. Not that I necessarily matter considering that by turn 70 at most Ulm will likely be gone.
Why would I give gold I don't have and gems I direly need to an enemy who...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

First of all, are you saying you declared war on both Bandar Log and LA Marignon (there may be others but to be honest I can't remember the names of everyone who's at war with you)? That was a rather...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

It's a good thing I'm lucky, then, because I seem to stale prolifically. I did my turn and forgot to send it in. In the middle of a giant war, too!

I wonder, about how much of the world is...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I think I'll take a hint from Ruin. As much damage as possible will be inflicted upon Arcoscephalean (and Atlantian, and C'tissian, and whoever else joins the Eat Ulm bandwagon; the C'tissians have...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Re: A Rare Win for Ulm

It's incredibly late, but I'm winning and thus two AARs--the battles of Ivermark and Korrmark, two provinces with truly Ulmish names. Coincidentally two provinces once again under Ulmish rule. Still...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I'm more resigned than hateful. However, if hate will win me the war, then prepare for so much hating even Hitler (or whatever group/person you have a particular dislike to) would be surprised. :p

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

Equip spare Lycantropos Amulets on them? :)

Anyways, I tried to set up the Wrath of God. I failed. Sigh. 100 pearls down the drain. MA Ulm's hopes are becoming increasingly small, though at least...

Re: KingMaker - let the Ascension War commence!

I was afraid I'd stale! You see, I live in Ohio. Ohio just had a hurricane (albeit a minor one) and is currently in a state of emergency (or so I've heard) due to said hurricane. My power was out for...
