Re: ANDalusian Sun: Anonymous LA Game for experienced players. (5/13 remaining)

Thank you Dimaz for being such a good Admin! I can't imagine two years of granting extension requests and looking for all those subs. Hope we didn't consume all your admining patience :-)

Re: ANDalusian Sun: Anonymous LA Game for experienced players. (5/13 remaining)

I was doing a lot of sneaking vamp armies around to make them as unpredictable as possible. I hoped to make the illusion that any seemingly empty fort could actually be holding a legion of vamps. I...

Re: ANDalusian Sun: Anonymous LA Game for experienced players. (5/13 remaining)

Sometime during this period, someone cast armaggeddon. This was quite a blow to me, as a few decked out juggernaut summoners were killed, along with quite a few astral window casters too. This caused...

Re: ANDalusian Sun: Anonymous LA Game for experienced players. (5/13 remaining)

War with TC was a lot of prodding attacks and back and forth land grabbing. Both of us were hesitant to commit a significant amount of power into any single battle, as a loss would be catastrophic. I...

Re: ANDalusian Sun: Anonymous LA Game for experienced players. (5/13 remaining)

Around turn 80 onwards, Mictlan, Bogarus, and Tien Chi got into a brawl that would last the next 40 turns. During this extended period, Tien Chi got Arcane nexus, Gift of Health, and Misery up....

Re: ANDalusian Sun: Anonymous LA Game for experienced players. (5/13 remaining)

At this time, I still had no vamps, and for many turns after focused on empowering in blood and building up a vamp and blood hunting economy.

Tien chi and Mictlan quickly took the lead in income...

Re: ANDalusian Sun: Anonymous LA Game for experienced players. (5/13 remaining)

Yes it's finished after two years!

All the while, I had Wraithlord pegged as Tien Chi. The fight against Mockingbird was really tense for many many turns :)

This is a brief summary as far as I...

Re: DHG - Deadhouse Gates. Non NewB. 5/9 players remain

I'm also willing to concede. The dwarves are quite a difficult race to play, and my chances were quite low from the start. By the end, I was just hoping to be a nuisance to whoever was the current...

Re: DHG - Deadhouse Gates. Non NewB. 5/9 players remain

Squirreloid has posted in the other forum looking for a temporary/permanent sub. He has an eye infection so has to cut down on his games.

Re: DHG - Deadhouse Gates. Non NewB. 5/9 players remain

Oops, I rechecked and it seems that Stagger staled twice in Aftermath2 too. We might need to find a sub for him.

Re: DHG - Deadhouse Gates. Non NewB. 5/9 players remain

I heard on irc that squirreloid is busy for this week, and he's still submitting his turn for aftermath2. Stagger I haven't seen on irc in a while, but he's still submitting his turn for aftermath2...

Re: Back again after absence, polling interest for a MA (learning) game

I would suggest the vets being assigned the weakest nation people agree on instead of randoms, as they will still probably roll over the newer players. Plus you might be able to better entice vets to...

Re: DHG - Deadhouse Gates. Non NewB. 5/9 players remain

I see a huge 600 unit Nehek army squatting on Sylvannia's capital for a few turns now, but just sieging and not storming...

I did, but then I just deleted my .2h file and started from scratch, and everything seems as it should be.

Re: BearTrap - Early age game. Running like a cripple in a running competition.

So I move to declare Aby the winner. If any nation opposes, then speak now or forever remain silent! :)

Re: BearTrap - Early age game. Running like a cripple in a running competition.

I'm am for conceding the game to Aby.

But of course, if people really want to continue, and we find an eager sub for Yomi, I am willing to fight on as well! I just can't fight Aby all by my...

I'm still in! Sorry for the stale, was supposed to get back in time to finish and send in the turn last night, but got delayed.
