I'd like to see permanent troop-affecting buffs with some mechanism to make sure they're not obesely good on SC's. Perhaps gem cost that scales with base stats and size and so on.

Sar Elad gets some Earth magic on the Nevi'im and gets a bit of starting Earth income in the patch that is under works. I'm tempted to release it now but the Province Defence bug needs to...

For the record, a new version is coming soon. I can tell that it won't have heroes in it, nor the patrol bonus but there will be a number of other fixes and changes.

Most of spells can't be resisted. Nasty spells that can be resisted are Soul Slay, Nether Darts/Bolt and various mind control spells. Banishment can be resisted. If the spell can be resisted it has...

Magic Resistance doesn't work on nearly all spells BTW. It works only against those "Magic resistance negates" spells.

Magic Duel has a great distance so the two Astral mages don't need to be next...
