I had hoped that since the artillery is just continuing the same mission it had been shooting it would keep hitting the same hex it had been hitting all along. Ah...

I call for off-board artillery and it arrives, I adjust it so it is hitting where I want and, after a turn or two it ends.

Now, the turn right after it ends I call for it again at the same target...

Well Gentleman, you are correct - one unit is at half strength and the other much less.

If I am understanding correctly then both units should start the Special battle at 10 suppression and then...

Duh...you can attach files if you don't use the "Quick Reply" and use the regular one.

Well, tried 3 times and get "Invalid File" for whatever reason.

That is an excellent question!

Certainly in some cases the units are half strength from losses - hence their disruption level as the game ended.

I don't think so always but I will pay more...

In a Long Campaign you occasionally get offered a Special Battle. I normally turn these down but game sometimes...

Thanks for all the tips and info Andy - your force make-up is quite similar to mine except I like a lot of artillery.

And I stand somewhat corrected reference B-52 strikes on entrenched infantry....

Dread having to assault entrenched infantry or attempting to suppress/destroy entrenched crew served...
