Radar and TI in SP-SAM systems

When a SP-SAM has AAA radar and TI/GSR, does the TI/GSR affect in any way to its accuracy when firing against aircrafts?

For example Obat11 Russia, unit 288 SA-15 Gauntlet, has only Tor-M AA...

And I did not notice the rangefinder value but at least WG unit 207 has it, but it is listed as 5. Does RF 5 represent a laser rangefinder in LAW-type weapons?

Some rumours about Leo2A4 upgrade is the Strv122. The L55 seems to be a no-no due to barrel lenght in close quarters.

Re: Aircraft weapons

The Mk44 has APFSDS ammo. No?
The GAU-8 has only APDS ammo. No?

APFSDS is made to have more penetration capability than APDS. I can see no other reason to make such a complicated round if it has...

Re: Unauthorized Poll for SPMBT

If you want taks and TI and a nice fight try for example germany vs. UK in 1980->2020 range. Although somewhat ahistorical (who cares..?), countries are pretty evenly matched and both have lot of...

Re: Ideas how to improve WinSP MBT/WW2 !

Iīm not a fan of the overrun attack. I doubt it will hapen in real combat and even less when dealing with 50meter hexes.
