Re: Battle dates: year, month, day, hour?

I tried something similar once, July 43 - Aug 43, I selected SS with 100 battles. I did get burned out after 25 battles though...

Re: Battle dates: year, month, day, hour?

Why not just add a pop up when a conflict arises allowing the user to pick the order of the saves added?

Re: AP vs Bunker/Pillboxes

Think splinters. When those small (or big) rounds hit the side/rear of a concrete, log, brick or whatever bunker, there will be nasty things flying around inside that death hole. The only place I...

Re: Mapping question(s)

And it's finally done. Took about 6-9 hours for this small map. I think on one of my maps (80x160) it took about 14 hours and I did one that was the full size (200x160) which only took about 8 to 10...

Re: 20 years

Squad Leader (ASL) and coffee, always brings a smile to my face...when I first saw SP1 I was like Oh my gosh...ASL in computer format...

The 20 years have been a blessing, always have an opponent...

Oh, and have fun, when you start to get to the point when your saying things like "that's just beautiful" or "need to be creative here" then your on to something.

I also cut parts of maps and or...

Re: Mapping question(s)

Some notes or tips.

What I usually do is find the place in some mapping program (google earth, google maps, elevation topical maps to get me the latitude and longitude and then I paste them into...

Re: Units Taking Cover

IINM I have seen the AI (and for me when I am watching the AI's turn) use 'C' (cover) for both sides, it's subtle but I know when I have been firing on the AI's units at times they will "disappear"...

New Post and Today's post 'weirdness'

Last two days I have noticed that the "New Posts" and "Today's Post" are showing some weirdness.

I don't subscribe to that, nor do I see any more "New Posts"...

Re: Crash down

Another great and free tool I have been using on Windows for years is glarysoft.

https://www.glarysoft.com/glary-utilities/

It’s free and finds and repairs stuff.

Re: OT: looking for zovs66

What is neat, I think I did this in the past (but been busy lately) is to create a small CG, save it, and then save several turns for each battle, so for example saving 5 turns in battle one, you can...

Re: OT: looking for zovs66

I can't answer the details on how it's done (don't know), but it is calculated per turn or per saved loaded up.

Yes that is correct, if you look closely you’ll see the check boxes I toggled on/off.

Re: OT: looking for zovs66

No originally as Erik stated it was originally created for the other game and I asked him if it might work for WW2 and MBT. He said he'd take a look at some saved games and get back to me if it did....

Re: MBT's

That pic was taken 4 years and 5 months after I got out of the Army. We never used/had the yellow reflector tape and we never used a flag like that in the turret.

Re: Editing Campaigns

For the main campaign itself: ucampXXX
For each scenario in the chain: UXXXi00X or Uxxxi0xx

Or for example:
ucamp019
U019i000
U019i001
U019i002

Re: OT: looking for zovs66

I'll let Erik explain. Essentially it allows you to track stuff in a campaign game over time. You can also track stuff in scenarios. Its most usefulness I would think is tracking your core campaign...
