I reinstalled the game in a different folder, but it would not still work. Then I restarted my system and now it works! I have no clue about what happened...

You didn't look hard enough, plenty of us are running the game with no performance problems and sound in vista 64 bits.
Start by not installing in Program Files (turning off UAC is also an option,...
