Re: What is the story with those dominion ads??

I should imagine that a company in the entertainment industry would have some concern for the values and image it chooses to project. Certainly us private citizens often enough care of right, wrong,...

Re: Poison weapons

No. As far as I know, nothing does. Not luck, not mirror image, not air shield, nothing. Which makes magic bows with secondary effects (black bow, vision's foe, etc.) rather unfair against many foes....

Re: Feohtan - EA game - Well and Truly On

You're both wrong, in actuality the brown stuff dropping off the skies is Minotaur Lords. It's an easy mistake to make, I know.

Me, I'm more worried about the satyrs migrating out of season, and...

Re: Fomoria Wins!

Ooh, congrats Micah! I had also placed you at Fomoria way early (before you attacked me), just based on the audacity of your game http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif I also put QM...

Re: Turn 25

Oh, how I wish I could help... But the bastion of civilization that is Bogarus is also under attack by all kinds of savages.

Re: Who is the most powerful nation and why?

!
Hell no, must have been someone else http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif It's such an obviously imbalanced nation that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I think that the...

Re: Technical Problem

I bet it's that stupid "Virtual Storage" again. I used Vista to play Dominions for a while, and instead of saving stuff like .2h-files in the program's folder as a naif like me expected, it saved...

Re: Patch 3.15

But, but, what about the horrible, horrible nerf to Bogarus? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif

And what about that poor sap who attacked Ulm? What's he gonna say when he...

Re: Halt Heretic - Opinions

Ahem, the Iron Angel has
base encumberance 1
base magic resistance 20
base defense 15
base move 3/16
(You obviously observed it in drain dominion and didn't take into account the equipment...

Re: LlamaServer patched!

I sure would advise against such speedy patching. Dominions is notorious for introducing new game-breaking bugs with some patches (for example the new scale-bug and the HoF-killing Doom Horror) so...

Re: Feohtan - EA game, Open

I support the notion!

Relatedly, do you wanna keep on doing the hosting duties, IndyPendant, or do you want to shuffle them to someone else?

Re: Feohtan - EA game, Open

Hehe, I wonder... I mean, Fomoria has actual recruitable (and badass!) amphibious troops, which isn't something Sauromatia can say about itself. So I sure hope Digress has a plan...

Re: Turn 11

As well you should, rawr.

Hmm, I don't think it's obvious. Quite the opposite, in fact. The victory condition is to possess 15 victory points at once: me, I would think there are any number of...

Re: Victory Condition

Ahem, Calmon's saying that he'd prefer 40% of provinces, not VPs. Me, I don't like victory conditions based on provinces, since you can't protect your provinces by building forts the way you can your...
