Potion An idea for 'body armor'

I'm not sure how backed up the back log of suggestions for this game is (I guess very!), but I figured I might as well throw in a suggestion I've been sitting on for a little over a year. It involves...

Re: Fiery Cross Island

Depending on where that ATGM platoon is located, it can either be a devil of a fight, or something to get smashed. I'd assume they'd be near the beach, but if they're further back they might avoid...

Re: Missing Lost Scenarios?

Nothing much to add here. I know Lima 85 (438) is in the game. Other than that, holy moly, a Valley of Tears level?! I know how I'm spending my weekend.

Re: The Hills by the Sea huge map A/D scenario

Hey man, this is an interesting scenario! My only nitpick here is that the map just doesn't, well, feel right, you know? Did you do anything else besides randomly generate a world? Random generation...

Re: Strike aircraft not following exit orders

Can confirm, this happens to me too. They see en enemy that's not directly in front of them, they strafe it, then they fly away. If there's another enemy directly in front of them they have a chance...

Re: Fiery Cross Island

I can understand all that! It's strategic level combat changing how the tactical level works. Still, those are my two cents. The scenario is excellent, especially the map. It's a classic I hope to...

Re: Fiery Cross Island

So, fifteen turns in, kind of sweeping the Chinese most everywhere. A few things to think about.

1. Ammo. I'm running seriously low on ammo for my Abrams tanks. Perhaps having an AAVP7 ammo...

Re: Fiery Cross Island

Playing through it now! Only on turn five but things are turning out pretty swell! I'll post a full blow-by-blow once I'm finished.

Re: SP23Ed for SPWW2?

Does that mean that I can create an OOB on one map and copy-paste it to another in less than five minutes? Man, that'd be swell.[/QUOTE]

Not an OOB but same units even if modified can you not just...

Some things of note

Howdy! Today I was fortunate enough to shoot the breeze with a bird colonel during a friend's graduation dinner. He was commander of the 44th Engineer Battalion from 1987-1988, and had some rather...

Re: help Campaign Round Hammer scenario 2

You're landing on a muddy beach, so it's natural for tanks to get stuck! There isn't a single space for tanks to land safely except for 24,17 and 24,15. Even then you're going have to cross at least...

Re: Mud on hills

Nothing much to explain, really. Family owns a ranch up in Colorado where we invite a team of archeologists to dig on it every year or so. One year it was sleeting down rain but we found a really,...

Re: Mud on hills

Man, I feel like I need to add my own personal experience here. In semi-arid near-desert areas mud will form near knee deep on the slope of a hill during a rainstorm. Trying to drag a dinosaur bone...

This is what I get every time I try to use mines as Green-For. Something for next year, eh? Thanks for the work-around!

Re: Ottawa Treaty Signatories

Lucky timing, I just found an assumed grey area myself. Are the Green OOB allowed to use mines? They have the same Ottawa treaty gubbins as the Iraqis.

Re: Custom unit icon buggering up

Thanks for the help man! I tried using Paint.net but since it was 1AM and I was tired I didn't notice that there was a option to choose 24bit BMP files. Thanks again for the help!

Custom unit icon buggering up

Howdy! With the release of the newest patch I figured I'd try my hand at creating my own custom units for my fictional nation. Using Windows paint I created a relatively simple tank, saved as a 24...

Re: 2018 SPMBT Upgrade Patch

Woah, North Korea has a new tank? Shoot, here I was thinking I could continue to curb-stomp them as America in a 2018 invasion. Ah well, I'll just be wiping my tears with the new Abrams with a...

I think I worded it incorrectly, so let me try again to make sure I can get it through my thick skull. If I use the command fix to change a company HQ to a platoon, will the platoons attached to the...

Howdy! Hope I'm not intruding in on things, but you (DMNT) mentioned satellite mode in an upcoming version. If this gets pushed out (Which I hope it does--I only have one screen so I can't have...
