just had a chance to play with the opfire menus, they are very nice, but sorry to say I found a small issue with the keys used:

What use would it be anyway? The cmt file is *tiny* compared to the dat file, and if you use for instance PBEM Helper to do the manual work...

If quartz.dll is used then the playback of mp3 files should work, are you sure this crash is related to sound playback and not some gfx driver issue?

It seems most of the problems relating to sound are caused by 'bad' or incompatible codecs installed, usually through a pack or a third-party player, with that codec taking over the playing of MP3...
