Re: LOS

Either, he'll never see me here because of the lower elevation and the hill in the way <BLAM BLAM BLAM> "Routed"......

LOS

I have trouble determining ahead of time what the LOS will be in a particular hex if I were to move there. Elevations alone don't seem to apply regularly and there doesn't seem to be a way to check...

I only "exposed" the truth which I wasn't hiding from view in the first place.

I do keep an eye on entertainment value while posting so glad you enjoyed...

Re: Armor penetration values

Gosh what a great post!

I have a question...

In SP1 you could pretty much tell accuracy and penetration values by comparing the length and diameter of the gun and if the length is 50% or over...

Re: Flawed User Guides??

LMAO!

Excellent sounds just like me in my first or second game where my spotter plane enters from the enemy's side of the board and is promptly shot down...

Re: Where are default Country Training/Morale poin

Well I found a morale table by year. It's an old chart but it should be at least a basis of judging morale and experience:

You have to scroll all...

Re: Flawed User Guides??

Ya I figured the initial air attack was luck.

I'm not familiar with the Russians, was the Polikarpov that initial tank I hit three times with my 88's and it stayed in "ready" status...

Re: WinSPWW2 Multi-player User Campaigns?

Well that's a kewl idea...

Ya micro-level AI is apparently not up to snuff, hence the waypoints...

Hmmm, makes me think about hacking the waypoint routines to make them programmable... But...

Flawed User Guides??

I've read several strategy guides for SP and none of them mention the power of paratroopers.

I just had my HQ assassinated by a team of paratroopers on turn 8! ...

Re: WinSPWW2 Multi-player User Campaigns?

Ok I get it. It is then like middle ground between just playing the comp in a battle and playing full PBEM with a human.

Re: WinSPWW2 Multi-player User Campaigns?

So to clarify then with the default AI opponent it's a race to capture the victory locations right?

Once a vl is captured what is to prevent another unit from attempting to re-capture it?
